About the Ride

The Tour de Blue Ridge is a multi-day, stage ride of the entire Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive – 564 miles – that I conceived and developed. I will be riding the Tour de Blue Ridge by myself. The Tour de Blue Ridge is not an organized group ride with sponsors and many participants. The transportation and logistical support on my ride will be provided by friends. If interested in riding with me during any part of the Tour de Blue Ridge, you are responsible for providing your own transportation and logistical support. The Blue Ridge Parkway Association has posted rules for bicyclists riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The same rules apply while riding on the Skyline Drive. Please always wear a helmet while riding a bike outdoors anytime, anywhere.

I intend to make interactive maps of each stage available. To view these interactive maps, you will need to have Google Earth on your computer or smartphone. To download the free Google Earth app for the iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC desktop computers, or Android smartphone or tablet, click on the appropriate technology. Please note, you may need to install the Google Chrome browser to use Google Earth on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
